Villa Tymnessos is conveniently located in Kalamar Bay area of Kalkan. An olive
grove is located on the adjacent hill to the right of the villa, and goats can be heard in
the early spring and late autumn as they roam the hillside under the watchful eye of a
local shepherd.

The sea,
Kalamar Bay Beach Club and the Kalkan Dive Center are a 5 minute
downhill walk from the villa, and during the summer, guests can arrange for a
complimentary shuttle bus to the Kalamar Bay Beach Club, which provides water-
side sun loungers, parasols, adult and children’s water activities as well as an
excellent sea-side restaurant offering Turkish and English menu choices and ice
cold drinks.

Café Vita is a 5 minute walk from the villa towards Kalkan and offers wonderful
Turkish and Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner options and many tourists and
locals are seen reading the morning newspaper here as they enjoy their tea or
coffee. A small family-run mini-market is located next to Café Vita selling fresh breads
and everyday supplies.

The lovely village of Kalkan is only a 15 minute walk or less than 5 minutes by car
from the villa, and water taxis and shuttle buses run frequently between Kalamar Bay
and Kalkan during the daytime in summer. Kalkan offers many excellent and well-
renowned Turkish and International restaurants, enticing shops, a picturesque
harbour and many outdoor cafés that take advantage of the incredible vistas that the
village offers. Watch the sunset from the little harbour or stroll through Kalkan’s
cobbled streets with whitewashed, shuttered Ottoman buildings – either way, you
won’t be disappointed.

A full range of
activities is available to suit all ages and activity levels.
